I’m Anastasia, the founder and creator of Botanica Lashes App. I’ve been a professional lash artist for 10 years and have worked in different countries across Europe, Asia and the United States.
I’m still a practicing lash artist, working with up to 8–10 clients a day. Botanica Lashes grew directly from the problems I kept seeing in real appointments, especially during consultations.
Clients rarely speak our professional language. “Natural,” “full,” “long” or “Cat Eye” can mean something completely different to each person. Sometimes I could immediately see that the design a client requested might not create the effect she expected, but explaining that with words or someone else’s reference photo was not always enough.
I wanted a way to simply show her.
Why I Created Botanica Lashes
I created Botanica Lashes App as a professional lash design and consultation app for lash artists that solves the problems I was facing in real appointments.
For experienced artists, it makes it easier to visually explain recommendations, agree on the design before starting and turn an ordinary consultation into a more professional client experience.
For newer lash artists, it helps with one of the most difficult parts of the job: translating lash design theory into decisions for a real client. Instead of relying only on imagination, artists can compare different directions before committing to a set.
My goal was simple: less guessing, fewer misunderstandings and better design decisions before the first lash is applied.
Botanica Lashes App is the tool I wanted to have in my own work. So I built it.
